Elegant Thanks

We made this stunning card at our last stamp club gathering, and the gals seemed to really enjoy it. I have to say that this is my favorite stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration flyer. The stamps are numbered on the index sheet to help with the stamping order. Also, there is a tab on the flower stamps that helps you consistently orient the images. For this card I stamped all three layers of the flower with the same ink (Calypso Coral) but achieved the color variances by stamping off. Here is what I did:

1. The top edges are the darkest (stamp #1) and stamped with full strength Calypso Coral
2. The second layer which adds some more color (stamp #2) uses the same ink, but it was stamped once on scrap paper before stamping on the image.
3. Stamp #3 fills in the whole flower body and I did that with Calypso Coral ink and stamped it off twice on scrap paper before stamping on the image.

I have seen some really gorgeous creations made with this stamp set. This sample uses the same color, but I have seen people mix colors that are shades of the same color, or mix up some different colors. I'm going to experiment some more because I just can't get enough of this stamp set.
