This is yet another card that I created for the December stamp-a-stack. This one features the two types of embossing, and they are both gorgeous. The background is dry embossed with a beautiful embossing folder from the Holiday Mini catalog and the greeting is heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.
I got the inspiration for this card from a sketch that I found on-line. I rotated it 90 degrees and switched the direction of the little banner piece (ribbon on my card) to make it work better for what I wanted to do with the stamps.
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Wonderful Wreath, Joy to the World
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
- Ink: Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi*, Versamark
- Accessories: Subtles DSP, Circles Framelits, Pretty Print embossing folder, Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, Cherry Cobbler Chevron ribbon, Stampin' Sponges
*I originally created the design using Pear Pizzazz DSP and ink for the wreath, and that is what you see in the photo. I decided the green was a little too light, so I changed it to Wild Wasabi for the actual stamp-a-stack card.
