It has been ages since I offered a class, and I decided that it was about time that I got back in the swing of it. In the past my classes have typically been focused on a specific product: stamp bundle, patterned paper or kit. I confess that it has occasionally been challenging due to occasional product availability issues. Recently I’ve been thinking that I would like to offer classes focused on techniques rather than specific products. Techniques are my first love with stamping, and I thought it made sense to revisit my “roots” for a new direction in classes.

The first class that I’m offering is focused on a couple of techniques that you can do with embossing folders. There are a lot more opportunities for creativity beyond the basic embossing folder texture, but you gotta start somewhere. 😉 With these two cards you’ll learn some options that you’ll be able to use over and over in your personal crafting. I love embossing folders and the possibilities for other ways to use them are numerous.

Here are the details for the class:

  • Date: June 7th, 10:00 am – noon
  • RSVP Date: June 3rd
  • Location: First Congregational Church in Essex Junction
  • Description: Create 2 cards featuring different embossing folder techniques
  • You need: Adhesive, scissors and any other favorite tools
  • Fee: $15 (paid in advance)
  • Class includes:
    • Prepared kits for all cards
    • Envelopes
    • An expert to guide you – me 😉

There are a bunch of great embossing folders that Stampin’ Up!â„¢ offers and you can check them out here. I’ll be using two of them for this class and the techniques will work well with others. There are a few that are on the Last Chance list, so you can get some great products at a discount. I encourage you to check them out!
