This is the second card that I made using the “felted cardstock” technique. My previous post featured a fun and funky napkin that I used for the background. This card features a very pretty, more traditional, napkin for the background panel. I’m really loving this technique, and I expect that I’ll make up another batch of Christmas cards that I’ll save for next year. I have several pretty napkins that I purchased with this technique in mind so I’m going to have a bunch of fun.

I used this sketch as the basis for my card design. I really like how there is a large panel in the center that I could use to show off the pretty napkin background that I created. I’m also having fun using the foil snowflakes from the Holiday catalog. I think it is a perfect complement to the gold accents on the napkin and fills the circle element wonderfully.

This is likely my last post before the Christmas holiday. If you celebrate Christmas, I hope that you have a blessed time with family and friends; may you have great food, wonderful times that create great memories, and quiet times to find inner peace in all the hectic times.
