Send a flowery wish
A couple of colors featured on this card have retired, but I just had to share it with you anyway. The stamp club gals made this card in our May meeting, and it was a real hit. The flowers and leaves are stamped and then die cut with a set of coordinating framelits that were available as a bundle in the Spring Mini catalog. The stamps and framelits are still available in the new catalog, but only as separate items, not as a bundle any more.
The color inspiration for this card came from the ColourQ blog site. I do really love their color challenges! Ruby Red has been retired for ages, so I substituted Riding Hood Red, which is very newly retired. 🙂 You could still create this card, but you'll have to change the red and the green for something different. I think that Pear Pizzazz instead of the Certainly Celery would look lovely! What do you think for the red? Cherry Cobbler, perhaps?
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Secret Garden, Friendly Phrases (retired)
- Cardstock: Certainly Celery (retired), Whisper White, Riding Hood Red (retired), Calypso Coral
- Ink: Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery (retired), Basic Black
- Accessories: Secret Garden framelits, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, basic pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals
