My friend Katrina is going through a very tough, emotional time right now. This card is something that I want to send to her to let her know that I'm thinking of her and praying for her family. While a card is really a little thing in the big picture of life, frequently it is the little things that help us get trough the tough times.
I created this card for a swap that I participated in with several of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I belong to an on-line group and they always organize swaps for each new catalog that comes out. I want to participant whenever possible because I always get absolutely amazing swap cards in return. My fellow demos are amazingly creative!
This card features a color combination that I found on my favorite color combo site. The color combo includes Certainly Celery which is now retired, so I substituted Pear Pizzazz instead. I just love the summery color combination here, and I couldn't pass up creating a project with it.
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Six Sided Sampler
- Cardstock: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
- Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Real Red
- Accessories: Honeycomb embossing folder, Hexagon punch, Island Indigo 3/4" Chevron ribbon, Polka Dot Parade DSP
