I’m getting together (virtually) with two groups of stampers this week to share some stamping creativity and most importantly catch up. It has been far too long since I’ve seen any of my stamping friends and I’ve been missing them SO MUCH. I’m really looking forward to the day when we can meet up in person and share some creative time together. I love the fellowship and laughter that happens so easily while hanging out being creative together. In the meantime, I’m offering classes to go and occasionally connecting with the stamp club members using technology. I’m getting tired of Zoom meetings, but I really am thankful that we have this capability since that is the only way that so many of us have been able to meet and get work and socializing done.
This card is actually one of the options that the Essex gals can create with one of the card kits that I assembled. I’ll share the other option very soon. For this project all of the elements are the same between the two. The difference is in the color of DSP selected – for this card I used the Bermuda Bay side of the Oh So Ombre paper. I gave the participants a full sheet of the paper so they can decide which color they want to use and maximize the ombre effect. And, they’ll have more paper left over that they can use for other projects. I hope that they have fun creating this design! And I had so much fun coloring this cute donkey for the card! Due to Stampin’ Up! policies I’m not able to stamp the images that go in the kits, so I’m curious to see what the gals will do with their square panel.
Another reason for getting together with my stamping regulars is to give them an opportunity to play with some Sale-A-Bration products while they are still available. This challenge from TGIF Challenges highlights this current promotion, which is timed perfectly. Sale-A-Bration will end on February 28th, and that means that time is quickly running out to get this paper and the cute donkey stamps. There are some other great Sale-A-Bration options that I hope you’ll be able to get while they are still available.
