I’m a tad shy on the number of Christmas cards that I need this year, so I’m whipping up a few batches of cards to build my stash. This one features one of the patterns from the Feels Like Frost DSP at the top. I absolutely love the photo-realistic images in this paper and I think that they are stunning for winter-themed cards, too. Sadly, this paper is sold out already. But, I have a secret to share (it isn’t really a secret); this paper will be coming back in the Holiday catalog for 2020. So, if you haven’t been able to get it this year, you will get another shot. You will have to be patient, but this paper is so worth it!

I also wanted to participate in this current color challenge, so that is what drew me to the colors that you see on my card. Isn’t this a great color combo for a wintry, seasonal greeting?

I also wanted to point out that I used some of the Clear Wink of Stella in the center of the snowflakes that I stamped in the background. You can’t see it at all in my photo, but it does add a little something extra to the finished card. This product is so inexpensive and it can really add a lot to a card, even if it is elusive to the camera’s eye.

I used this old sketch as the inspiration for my card layout. Instead of the banner from the design, I used the second largest of the Stitched Nested Labels dies. I am really finding that I go to these dies for an interesting element on my cards lately. Once you have the basic shape dies, I definitely would suggest adding this dies to your stash of tools because they are so versatile.
