In my previous post I shared a card that I’ll be making with a group of folks on my upcoming trip to Charlotte, NC. This is the Easter card that the group will be creating. I have to say that I really like how this card turned out! The side panels use pieces of the pretty Sale-A-Bration Painted Seasons DSP, and I used a pearlized doily which is another Sale-A-Bration option that was added in March. My friends will be prepping all of the materials as well as the stamping and diecutting, so even though this card looks extra fancy it should be pretty simple for the event attendees to assemble. The batch of Easter cards will then be sent to shut-ins from their church. I hope that everyone loves them!
I used this older sketch as the inspiration for my card design. The finished card is pretty much a direct translation of this sketch – I didn’t do anything fancy when I designed it. A great template is going to produce a great finished product.
