This was the more involved card that the South Burlington stamp club made last week. I am absolutely besotted with the cute images in the stamps and patterned paper from the Monster Bash Suite. I have had a couple of projects where I colored the vampire and mummy images with my Stampin’ Blends, and it is just so much fun!
Here you can see how the card opens up to get to the panel for the greeting and your message. You can’t tell from the first image that this is a unique fold, so I just had to show how it works. Isn’t this just too much fun?!?
When I placed my pre-order for the Holiday catalog, I included all of the products from the Monster Bash Suite, except for the coffin boxes. I don’t tend to do lots of Halloween crafting, but I have to say that this suite has really inspired me this year. And I can’t gush enough about the Ornate Frames dies. Yes, they coordinate wonderfully with the stamps, which are clearly single purpose for a small time window in the year. However, many of the dies are great with other stamps and can work for any season. In fact, I have used the swirly frames on other projects to create an accent element, and I love the look. My prediction is that the Spooktacular Bash stamps will retire at the end of the catalog time (this is just a guess with absolutely no inside info), but I dearly hope that the coordinating dies will carry over since they are so awesome.
