The Dandy Designs patterned paper is a fabulous Sale-A-Bration option! There are 12 different double-sided designs and you get 4 of each, so you will have LOTS of paper to use as you create. These designs are mostly softer colors, so they are great for adding subtle elements to your project that will coordinate beautifully. I made up a batch of 36 of these cards for the church card ministry so the sends have plenty to send to folks celebrating in March. I was inspired to get an early start this month, so I had some extra time to add some diecut stars (from the Give It A Whirl dies) to the card and some retired accent bling, too. I have to say that it was far more enjoyable when I could work on the cards in small amounts over several days instead of my usual rush to get them out the door in time. Will I keep up the practice next month? We’ll have to see!
I was so excited to see this challenge come up in my searches! The timing was perfect with my desire to use some of this great Sale-A-Bration paper. I love it when things come together like that!
I did think about doing some cards with the carrot stamp set, but getting a batch of birthday cards was a more pressing need for me. I still need to ink up the carrot set and I’ve got my brain working in the background to come up with an idea or 2. I confess that I haven’t had great urges to create in a vegetable theme, so it will be stretching my creativity. 😉
