Today would have been Mr. Nimoy's 84th birthday if he was still among us on the Earth. I was very sad to learn that our beloved Mr. Spock passed away earlier this month; I had my first glimpse of my inner geekiness as a child because I LOVED to watch Star Trek reruns so much. Leonard – you will be sorely missed by many of us.
This card features an Occasions stamp set that I've been having fun with and some of the pretty Sale-A-Bration paper that is only available until March 31st. This is a Z-Fold card, which is a favorite "fun fold" for me. They are so easy to make, they don't require any extra cardstock, and they are not a typical card. Woot!
You can faintly see on the back panel that there is a white circle with the edge of something stamped on it. I stamped a balloon from this same stamp set on a circle that is the same size as the stamped one on the front. I placed this on the back panel so that it would be hidden by the circle attached on the front section. This gives a little spot to place a hand-written greeting on the inside. I can think of many people that would enjoy this cute card, perhaps even Leonard Nimoy would have.
