This is the second (simpler) card that I created for the October Stamp-A-Stack. The only stamping was the star and the greeting, the rest was pretty darned quick assembly. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the star stamp as a focal point image for several holiday cards this year. When I saw it on the Holiday Single stamp flyer, I just knew that I had to have it.
The chevron patterned DSP on this card does part of the heavy lifting, too. I love all of the colors that are combined in this DSP pack, and I have used up almost a whole pack. That's a real feat for me because I tend to hoard my DSP because I love it so much. Maybe this is a sign that I'm learning to let go and use it up?
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Christmas Star, More Merry Messages
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
- Ink: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
- Accessories: Old Olive 1/8" taffeta ribbon, Seasons of Style DSP, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Small Scallop Rotary Cutting Blade
