How did we get to February 5th already?!? It seems like yesterday that I was unloading my son at his dorm for the Spring semester. I created this card for a swap featuring products from the new Occasions catalog that started at the beginning of January. I don't know why it has taken me so long to share this card here; please forgive me.
There are so many gorgeous products that are available in the new Occasions catalog, and with the addition of Sale-A-Bration, now is a truly wonderful time to be stamping. This card features a stamp set and patterned paper from the Occasions catalog, the rest of the products are from the "big" catalog. The stamp set is featured in the catalog along with a decor kit. I love the stamp set, but the kit isn't really "me". One of the things that I love about Stampin' Up! is that I can purchase these items separately, so I don't have to get a kit that I will likely never use to get a stamp set that I love. Isn't the greeting on this card just fabulous? It reminds me of Life is Good products and the Ben & Jerry's motto of "If it's not fun, why do it?"; a great approach to keeping a positive outlook.
The layout for this card is inspired by the sketch shown to the right. I have found so many designs on that sketch site that I have fallen in love with.
I have been drawn to the "clean" look lately, and that is the approach in sketches on this site. I look forward to more design inspiration from this site in the future.
