This post features the last two sections in my sampler project. This image is the one and only piece that clearly makes it a Valentine’s Day creation. Of course, the colors I used and the plethora of hearts and messages of love makes it pretty obvious it is a Valentine’s themed sampler. I’ll be able to pull out this panel year after year to “decorate” for the holiday. My goal is to create several panels for my frame with different themes so I can switch up the decor for various themes throughout the year.
This piece is as simple to create as the very first one that I shared in this series. I die cut the scribbly heart from the Lovely Lipstick foil (a free Sale-A-Bration item), and adhered it to the matted DSP. If you want your life to be super-easy, put a piece of a multi-purpose adhesive sheet on the back of the foil before you cut with the die. Peel off the backing after diecutting, and voilà you have a sticker ready to use.
Stay tuned for posts next week that show the finishing touches. I hope that you’re inspired to give this a try!
