When I saw all the samples online featuring a pretty hydrangea I couldn't wait to make one myself. Mid-late August is the time that we vacationed in Cape Cod for several years. So, I had to commemorate those trips by making a blue hydrangea which are in full bllom at this time on the Cape. I don't know what it is that makes them blue – is it a variety that we can't grow here in VT? Is there something in the soil on the Cape that makes the blue show up? Whatever the reason they are gorgeous flowers, and I really enjoyed creating my paper variety.
I designed this card for the stamp club gals because I wanted to feature the Thoughtful Branches bundle at our August meeting. You'll see another post very soon that shows the second card that we made, too. This superbly versatile bundle is only available until August 31st, so place your order online to so you don't miss out on this great set.
