Hydrangea card

When I saw all the samples online featuring a pretty hydrangea I couldn't wait to make one myself. Mid-late August is the time that we vacationed in Cape Cod for several years. So, I had to commemorate those trips by making a blue hydrangea which are in full bllom at this time on the Cape. I don't know what it is that makes them blue – is it a variety that we can't grow here in VT? Is there something in the soil on the Cape that makes the blue show up? Whatever the reason they are gorgeous flowers, and I really enjoyed creating my paper variety.
