Isn't it beautiful?!?

I haven't had my blog for very long, but I knew before I really started that I wanted to have something that looked professional and spiffy.  I signed up for a WordPress blog because I wanted to have the power and capabilities that this blog mechanism provides.  And I have been very happy with this framework.  However, I tried several different free themes that are available with WordPress, and I wasn't really liking any of them.  And then Michelle Laycock had her "Pre-Mades" sale on her website on July 1st.  That was the answer to my prayers and dreams!  I've been looking at the amazing work that Michelle has done for so many other bloggers, and I have been in awe.  She creates amazing blog designs that are very personalized for the blogger.  I have to confess that the only thing holding me back from signing up for her custom design services was my concern that I couldn't articulate what I wanted for my blog.  This pre-made design is absolutely perfect for me!  I love the color scheme (Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and Sahara Sand), and I love the free flowing filigree/scallop appearance.  I think this design will look lovely at any time of year whether I'm sharing ideas in the spring, fall or even the Holidays.  Click to see Michelle's blog where she showcases some of her wonderful design work.

Free fun stuff!

To celebrate my new blog look, I'm going to offer some blog candy (pictured above)!  Leave a comment for this post by 6:00 pm EDT on July 14th, and you'll be entered in a random drawing for this collection of stamping goodies.  I'll announce the winner a bit later that evening, and the winner will have 24 hours to contact me for their prize.  Make sure to leave a comment in time to be entered and check back to see if it's you!  (The teeny-tiny print… the winner must have a US mailing address to be eligible.)  The blog candy collection contains:

  • Hello Again stamp set
  • A sampling of vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware
  • 1 yard Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon
  • 1 yard Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon
  • A sampling of Candy Cane big designer buttons

Good luck, and happy posting!
