I needed to make a batch of Valentine's to send out this year, and happily the current Clean-And-Simple (CAS) challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is to share a card with a 
. So, I decided to kill two birds with one card (so to speak).
I used the colors from the DSP stack as a starting point for this card, although I substituted Chocolate Chip instead of Garden Green. And have I said lately how much I LOVE the thick Whisper White cardstock?!? It is nice and sturdy and perfect for card bases. Many Clean and Simple designs seem to have a white card base, and I'm so glad that we have this beefier cardstock for that purpose. Regular Whisper White cardstock is an absolute dream to stamp on, but it is a bit wimpy to use for a card base. So – I'm thrilled that I have them both!
I drew the inspiration for the layout from an old sketch (pictured here) from Freshly Made Sketches. I'm pretty sure that I have used this layout before, but it's still a great design and I was happy to do it up again. Different colors and stamp images create a totally different look, so I'm willing to bet that I'll do this one up again some time in the future.
