He's such a cutie!Don't you think he's cute, tho?

I have to tell you that I think Jake Gyllenhaal really is a hotty.  He has just the right combination of charm, a teeny bit of edginess with the unshaved look, and a twinkle in his eye.  What's he thinking?!?  Risking his "stuff" against Bear Grylls?  We'll just have to stay tuned…

Now, the creation for today really can't compete with Jake on the hot-ness front.  But, this little guy really is a cutie in his own right.  This fun owl punch was released in the catalog last year, and it took me ages to order it.  I was trying very hard to resist his charms, but I finally succumbed late in the catalog year.  I haven't made much with the punch yet, and I have to say that the eye pieces are quite teeny and fiddly, but I do love the results.  One of my demonstrator sisters shared that she used dental wax (like from the Orthodontist) to keep track of the teeny-tiny pieces until she gets them adhered.  I haven't tried it yet, but I certainly will.

Another highlight on this card is my home-made polka-dot ribbon.  I made this with our very own Designer Fabric, and it was easy-peasy.  Make a cut on the side at the length that you want, and then make a small cut at the bottom for the width of "ribbon" that you want.  Then tear the fabric apart.  Voila!  Your own home-made ribbon.
