Too Kind For WordsI know that this is a "girly" card, but perhaps John would enjoy it anyway (?). I was just reading on-line about his plans to take a multiple amputee teenager to Disneyland. I'm very impressed at this selfless act to help out a 19 year old that is going through a REALLY tough time. He inspires me to "send good thoughts his way".

I actually created this card for a demonstrator swap for new catalog stamp sets. When I saw the Too Kind stamp set in the catalog, I knew that I had to have it! I own so many flower stamp sets, but I just can't seem to help myself. blush I love participating in the swaps that are organized by this group (it's called SUDSOL) because I always receive some wonderful samples back in return. I just sent in my swaps for the Holiday catalog on Wednesday. I can't wait to see the happy mail that I will get in return!

The color scheme for this card is derived from the beautiful DSP at the bottom of the card. The paper is called Venetian Romance and I absolutely love it! This card is a relative cornucopia of new goodies – the ribbon, the new In-Colors and the DSP. You know how sometimes you create something that just plain pleases you more than usual? Well, this card does that for me.

I used the following materials to make this card:

  • Stamps: Too Kind
  • Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: Soft Suede, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Calypso Coral
  • Accessories: Ovals Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffled Stretch Trim, Venetian Romance DSP, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponges
