Sorry I’ve been away from my blog for a while; I’ve been wrapped up in other crafty things and I haven’t focused here. I am glad to be back posting, and I have some fun things to share!
This card was from an August stamp club gathering (I admitted earlier that I’m behind). This was the simpler card for the evening, and it went together lickety split for everyone. I used this set with another stamp club group, and I just had to show it again so that everyone could see how cute this lemon (or lime) stamp set is with the coordinating punch. I’ve especially had fun with the various greetings – who can’t relate to dealing with the “lemons” that we get in life?!?
I followed the sketch that you see here when I designed the card. The finished card is a direct representation of the sketch – I didn’t take any liberties when I was designing this one. This sketch looks pretty versatile to me, and I can imagine revisiting it in the future because there are so many possibilities. What about having the center panel be embossed instead of the patterned paper? Or… it could be a large stamped image with a small greeting popped up in front in the bottom right.
