A lot of the peacock quotes that I found online are pretty snarky to the peacock mostly indicating that it’s all show and no substance. I like the sentiment of this one because I think it’s important to celebrate who we are and not seek to suppress our inner being. It’s about being joyful in ourselves and letting it show. As I learned in Sunday School as a child, “God don’t make no junk”.

I used this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for the general layout of my card. The original sketch was square, but I stretched it into the standard rectangular card shape. This is a nice, versatile, basic card layout that lends itself to a vertical stamped image.
I do want to point out that this card is a blend of old and new. The Beautiful You stamps have been around for a while (and they are still Fabulous!), the Pretty Peacock elements became available in June, and the embossing folder and dimensionals will become available on September 4th when the Holiday Catalog products become available.
