Heading out for our cruise
It's time to share the May calendar pages from the 2012 calendar that I created with My Digital Studio (MDS). I'm still really enjoying this calendar; every month is a treat in remembering our fantastic journey last summer. Just last week I was talking with a hard-core "analog" scrapbooker about this cool software. I was able to show her a 12×12 "book" that I'm creating for a video slideshow for my sons' Eagle Scout Court of Honor. I really wish that I could have shown her the printed version of this calendar. She totally understood why it is so neat to be able to print multiple copies of the same project because she has a large family, and she could have used this feature in the past. The Stampin' Up! printing is absolutely top notch!
For May I featured pictures from our cruise ship. After a few days of doing day trips around to many amazing spots on the mainland of Greece, we departed the port of Piraeus on a cruise that took us around to several of the Greek islands. A good chunk of our first day was getting settled and underway on the cruise. One of the things that we had to do was "muster" which is key given the Italian cruise ship disaster that happened earlier this year. It was absolutely lovely to hang out on the top deck with a drink, read a book and soak up some rays. We would mix it up occasionally and go for a swim in one of the small-ish pools on the deck as well. As you can see from the photos, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, and it was that way for the whole duration of our trip.
