You were an inspiration
I was very sad to hear the news that Sally Ride just passed away. She was such a wonderful role model for so many young women who learned that it really is ok to "shoot for the stars" based on her example. Thank you for everything Sally, you will really be missed!
I CASE'd (Copy And Stamp Everything) this card from another demonstrator, but unfortunately, I don't remember who. I did change up the color scheme and the greeting, but the design and layout was totally inspired by another gal. This is one of the things that I love about the stamping community, and especially the Stampin' Up! demonstrator community – people share ideas and designs so freely and willingly. Sometimes I just don't have time, or perhaps the Mojo, to come up with my own design. In those situations I know that I can look out on the blog-o-sphere to get inspiration from some other great stamping artists to get things happening quickly.
I used the following supplies to create this card:
- Stamps: Summer Silhouettes, Up, Up & Away
- Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Naturals White
- Ink: Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant
- Accessories: 3/16" Corner rounder punch, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Twitterpated DSP, Itty Bitty Shapes punch, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals
