Really, a price increase?!?
I was just checking out "what's hot on the net" and discovered that people are all a-dither over the price and package option changes from Netflix. And since I'm a subscriber, I decided that I'd better go check the e-mail from them that I'd been ignoring. Sure enough, my current plan is going up $5 if I don't change anything about it. Now my fam and I are going to have to do some serious soul searching. Not that $5 is really that much money, but over the course of the year that's 60 bucks! I'm not especially wild about the selection of streaming movies from Netflix, at least so far. But… it is a nice option if we decide to chill out all together for an evening. We do have several RedBox locations near us, but that doesn't give us access to old movies. Arghhh!!!
So, I decided that I'd rather stamp something than think about a price increase/package change from Netflix. I feel so much more productive when I create something than I do when I'm sitting on my behind watching movies anyhow. This is a card that showcases a stamp set and Designer Series paper that is in the Summer Mini catalog, and both of them were included in the new catalog as well. That makes me very happy! This card is super easy to put together, and it is so cheery, it just makes me smile. And, there's a fun little hard-to-see accent on the left end of the thin strip. I punched a piece of vellum with the 5-Petal Flower punch and put a knotted ribbon in the center. It's just a little sumthin' sumthin' to add a bit of zip.

While these things made it into the "big" catalog, there are lots of wonderful stamps and accessories that will be gone once we get to September.
