I found this design on a blog site while searching the internet for ideas using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set. I just LOVED how the card designer created this pretty garland using the wreath. I was so enamoured that I CASE'd it to share it with the stamp club gals earlier this month. Despite some annoying challenges with the "Noel" Thinlet die, we had success creating this pretty card.
I'll share the secret of the garland, so you can create some of your own if you want. Stamp and die cut one wreath using the Wondrous Wreath stamps and coordinating Framelits. Measure and draw a line across the back of the wreath on the mid-line. Cut along that line you just drew. Then, mark one of those wreath sections on the mid-line and cut in half. You will have 1/2 of a wreath and two pieces that are 1/4 of the wreath. Center and adhere the 1/2 wreath section in the middle and near the bottom of a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with dimensions 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". Then, glue down the 1/4 wreath sections on either side, lining one cut edge with the edge of the cardstock and overlapping the end of the 1/2 wreath section. Die cut two bows and place them over the point where the wreath sections meet to cover any oopsies there. Voilà, you have a pretty garland! You can change up the colors to create a garland that works for any occasion.
