july_2015_paper_pumpkinIsn't this card just too cute? This is one of the cards that I made with the July Paper Pumpkin kit; I think this one is my favorite so far. I'm a sucker for all things coffee and the images in this set are fantastic! I belong to a couple of demonstrator only on-line forums, and many of the members plotzed when they saw the images once Stampin' Up! posted the video for this kit. A couple of gals were commenting that they weren't thrilled because they don't do coffee, but there is a cute little tea bag string so you could readily turn it into a cup of tea. So, unless you don't drink hot beverages at all, there is something for you here. Also people were raving that there were succulents for the cups, which caused me to just scrach my head and say "what?". Then I did a little searching online and found that apparently this is a "thing" right now. Taking darling coffee/tea cups and planting little succulents in them – there are load of images on Pinterest. I used all of the cup die cuts that had the succulent shapes included for the cards in the kit, which left me with four plain cups left over. Stay tuned for a future post where I show you what I did with those cups. I think I'll be pulling out these cute stamps in the future, which is one of the cool things about Paper Pumpkin; even if you use all of the kit contents, you still have the stamps that you can use over and over.

Now is a fantastic time to sign up for Paper Pumpkin – Stampin' Up! is offering 50% off the first two months for new subscribers. It is super easy to enroll, just go to this link and sign up. Make sure to use the code "HALFOFF" to get the discount. This promotion is only for new subscribers, so sadly if you are a current or past subscriber you aren't eligible. You don't get to see the kit in advance, which means that you get to be surprised each month, which is so fun! Not every month is cards, sometimes there are 3D items, too. You can skip a month as long as you do it before the 10th of the month, and you can cancel at any time. All you need is some adhesive, all of the rest of the necessary supplies are included in your kit. It is a great way to get a little crafty escape without accumulating loads of supplies. A Paper Pumpkin subscription is a great gift for someone you love, too!

Here is the video for the July kit – every month Stampin' Up! publishes a quick video to help subscribers use the kit.
