What's with all the hoopla and falderal around the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries marriage and new divorce announcement? It all seems kind of sad to me. I guess it has all meant lots of money in entertainment ratings and such, but call me naive and old-fashioned – I would like to think that marriage should be more than a money making stunt. Of course, I may be jumping on the popular bandwagon. Maybe the couple really did intend to be together for their "happily ever after". But seriously – 72 days?!? Doesn't seem like Kim really gave it the old college try, IMHO.
Anyhow, I'm assuming that someone is down about the current situation, and this card would be a cute little pick-me-up for them. I've had the stamp set in my collection since it came out last year, and I finally busted it out to make this card. I honestly don't know what I was waiting for because the images in the set are just too cute for words. And, I absolutely love the sentiment "a morning without breakfast… is like sleep"! I have a co-worker that has a coffee mug with that phrase on it, and I had a HUGE laugh the first time I saw it a few years ago. I was surprised and thrilled to see a stamp set from Stampin' Up! that included it.
