This is the second card that I designed for the South Burlington virtual stamping gathering. Actually, that isn’t 100% accurate… we did meet virtually, but all stamping was done in advance. We did talk about stamping, but we spent a lot more time catching up and enjoying each other’s company. It was so great to see all of the group and see pictures of some beautiful grand babies!
I personally fell in love with the Poinsettia Place Suite and purchased the whole thing! It was a moment of weakness in my goal to purchase products that are usable for multiple occasions. I’ll have to see what else I can create that isn’t only for Christmas with items from this collection. I do have to say that the Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper is especially wonderful! It adds a wonderful tactile element to the card; I just love running my finger over the upper section and feeling the velvety raised elements.
I used this older sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch! as my inspiration for the layout. My poinsettia is in place of the tree element and my sentiment is on a separate die cut that is placed in the same spot. I do like the way that my finished card turned out, what do you think?
