I created this box several months ago for the South Burlington stamp club group. For some reason, I just haven’t gotten around to sharing this project here, but since I’m organizing a bit for the New Year, it was time to get off my duff and show you this beautiful box.

To say that the South Burlington group are not lovers of boxes would be an understatement. I try to limit their exposure to them, but I do inflict them every so often just to see if they are warming up to them (I’m evil that way). I did pre-cut the scallop squares for the side panels to save us time on class night. The gals did do the rest of the cutting, and of course they did the stamping and assembly. They all agreed that they were worried at first, but found that the box really wasn’t that hard to put together after all. I’ll count that as a victory!!!

The dies for the banner and the box are all part of a set that coordinate with the stamp set that I used for the greeting. They were originally released in the 2017 Occasions catalog. I delayed a bit in ordering them, and I was very happy that they carried forward into the main catalog. If you are intrigued by these boxes, you can still purchase them. Below is a video that Stampin’ Up! created to show us how to use these dies.
