This card really would do for almost any occasion. The sentiment is generic enough that it could be for a birthday celebration, a big milestone like graduation or a new job, or even retirement. Or, it could just be a simple way of wishing someone well in the most general sense. I could see using this card as a “thinking of you” message to let a friend or family member know that they are on your mind. And whatever the occasion, I’m sure that the recipient will appreciate the thought.

I created this card as the Rococo Rose sample for the most recent In Color Club members. I really like the softness of the color along with the accent colors that you see. I really hope that the club members enjoyed this sample!

I did get a little tricky with the die-cut for the sentiment. I cut out the greeting with the smaller label dies in the Frosted Bouquet dies, lining up the greeting near the bottom. This die is a lot bigger than the area that I wanted for the card, so then I cut it again, this time having the greeting near the top of the die. I did use washi tape to hold the die in place while cutting so that it didn’t slip. Voilá, a custom die-cut perfectly sized for my needs! So, I encourage you to experiment with your dies to create new sizes by cutting multiple times.
