Sending Healing

Unfortunately, there are a number of people in our church that are grieving or struggling right now. There are three of them that I know quite well, so I especially wanted to make cards to send to them to let them know that they are in my thoughts and prayers. This stamp set seemed like a perfect set of images to make a card to send to them. I really like the sentiment that I chose from the set – it works for so many situations, and it felt perfect for the people that I’m sending cards to.

This stamp set was a recent addition to the Stampin’ Up!™ collection as part of the July 2025 Online Exclusive release. I really like silhouette stamps because they are a great way to show off some interesting backgrounds. For this one I pulled out a stencil from another company that I’ve had in my stash for ages. It was designed by the King of grunge and ephemera. I won’t say any more to avoid potentially violating policies; I’m sure you can figure out the designer I’m referring to. 😉

This is what I did for the inside of the card. It is an echo of the front with a smaller stencil background area and another, smaller silhouette image from the same stamp set. I still have plenty of space to write a special message to the recipient.

This card features two of the newest In Colors: Secret Sea and Cloud Cover. I absolutely love the pairing of these two colors! I think Secret Sea is quickly becoming one of my favorite alternatives to black. I really encourage you to check it out!

Remember, there isn’t a full-size ink pad for Cloud Cover. You can either get the cube in the ink spot set or create your own with an ink refill. In the supplies list I’ve included the un-inked spots and the ink refill so you can easily shop for them.
