Simple Pretty Birthday

I used this very old sketch layout as the design inspiration for my card. I have used this layout a lot when I want to create something quickly that features beautiful patterned paper. The upper section is smaller in my card to give more space to the DSP. This way I can use a 4″ x 4″ piece of the patterned paper for each card which makes me happy because I use the full sheet of DSP.

The Glow of Harvest paper is absolutely stunning and my picture doesn’t do it justice. There is a pearlized finish to each of the papers which gives an extra touch that adds beauty.
