A Pink Beauty Beautiful and easy

I'm so sorry that it has been so long since I posted anything here, let alone a project that you may enjoy. My regular "day job" has been requiring a bunch of extra hours lately, and creating and posting has fallen by the wayside. My main diversion lately has been a few minutes grabbed here and there to partake in my new guilty pleasure – playing Candy Crush Saga on Facebook.

But you really don't want to know about that! 🙂  I created this card for an easy start in a stamping class that I held in April. This card features a few products that have retired, but happily the stamps are still available. This really is quite simple to create, and I bet that there are some background stamps with words that could be used instead of the patterned paper. I will really miss that paper – it added a lovely touch to projects.

I used the following materials to make this card:

  • Stamps: Swallowtail, Loving Thoughts
  • Cardstock: Regal Rose (retired), Basic Black, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: Regal Rose (retired)
  • Accessories: First Edition DSP (retired), 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, Scallop Oval punch, Large Oval punch
