This is the second card that the Essex stamp club created last week. I did a little Pinterest searching for fun folds and came across a few ideas with a 4-Panel card. I knew that I wanted to highlight some Sale-A-Bration products, so this was perfect. I actually used the stamps and paper bundle that are part of the second group of Sale-A-Bration offerings. The bundle is available when you place an order > $100. With the latest Sale-A-Bration update, you can select the paper by itself when you place an order > $50. When I was passing out the supplies it was a little daunting to the group because it is lots and lots of pieces of paper. Happily it goes together quickly, so it isn’t as scary once you get under way.

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up. You can see that we stamped on 3 panels, and then used pretty DSP on two more. The panel that has the DSP strip gives a space to write your greeting to the recipient. Won’t this pretty card brighten a dreary day? One tip – one of the gals asked at stamp club if this card is over 1 oz. which would require additional postage. I just weighed mine, and the card is spot-on at 1 oz., so with the addition of an envelope it is a tad over the weight limit and therefore could require additional postage.

Here are the cutting and scoring measurements to create this card:

  • Lemon Lime Twist
    • 2 1/2″ x 4″
    • 5 1/2″ x 11″
      • Scored at 1/4″, 3 1/2″, and 6 3/4″
      • Cut 3/4″ across the top from the 1/4″ scored end to the 6 3/4″ score line. Cut down the 3/4″ on the score line to remove that piece.
      • Cut 3/4″ across the top to the 1/4″ scored line, cut down the score line to remove that piece. This creates a small tab that the other piece is glued to to create the front panel.
  • Early Espresso
    • 5 1/4″ x 4″
    • 4 1/2″ x 3″ (2)
    • 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (2)
  • Whisper White
    • 5″ x 3 3/4″
    • 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ (2)
    • 2 x 3 1/2″
