Flowers that will never die At least in paper

I created this vase of flowers to include in my display at a recent vendor fair.  I used the bright colors from the Summer Smooches suite from Stampin' Up! that is featured this month; the colors make me happy.  You can click on the link to the right on my blog to see information about the new products in the suite.  This was actually pretty easy to make, although it was a bit time consuming.  I stamped 30 flowers and punched them out to create 15 double-sided flowers.  My darling hubby created the stems by spray painting bamboo skewers.  I love that guy!!!  I punched the leaves using the bigger, thin section of the Blossom Petals punch.  The flower faces were stuck to the skewer with a glue dot, and then stuck  to each other with a dimensional.  I stamped the flower centers and punched them out with the circle punch; again adhering with a dimensional.  I encourage you to make your own paper flowers that will always be fresh and pretty.

I used the following materials to make this project:

  • Stamps: Mixed Bunch
  • Cardstock: Whisper White, Lucky Limeade
  • Ink: Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo
  • Accessories: Blossom punch, Blossom Petals Builder punch, ¾" Circle punch, Old Olive 1 ¼" striped grosgrain (retired),
