A beautiful color combo
This color scheme was featured on the ColourQ challenge on November 24, 2009. Every so often I will feature a blog post with a color scheme featured on different blogs. I do love the way they put together the color challenges on the ColourQ blog, so you will definitely see some more featured in the future. Hint hint, I'll have another one on Christmas Day.
I made this card as a CASE of a sample in the Holiday Mini catalog. I changed up the colors that were used to accommodate this color challenge, and changed the words to incorporate a stamp set that I own. I also took the opportunity to use the new Doily Large Sizzlit die that I pre-ordered from the Occasions Mini catalog that starts in early January. I don't have the Flirtatious DSP, but the Doily die fit the bill perfectly. This card also features a cute stocking punch image, that I absolutely love! Stampin' Up! just announced to demonstrators that the Stocking Builder punch will not be carried forward into the new big IB&C, so if you want it, you'll have to buy it now!
