stamp_club_treat_bagDid you know that Stampin' Up! has a team of stampers/bloggers that post inspiration frequently? Every year the company accepts applications from amazing artists that want to be a member of that prestigious team, and I can't begin to imagine how they make the decision on who makes "the cut". I have seen some amazing projects from people that didn't make it, but the people that are named to the design team are phenominally talented and definitely deserving. This particular treat bag was a CASE (Copy And Stamp Everything) of a project shared by a current design team member. Her name is Inge Groot and she is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Holland. You can check out here blog here – she has some truly amazing stuff! I only changed her original design slightly – I used different DSP because I wanted to show my stamp club gals the truly awesome Cherry On Top Designer Paper stack. Inge's original also used a now-retired background stamp for the front of the bag; I used an embossing folder as a "stamp" to create the background image you see here. Those embossing folders are so versatile! She used one of those cute clothespin clips at the top of the bag, but I didn't have any, so I pulled out some retired star clips that I had on hand to fill that spot. This project was all about featuring the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, and I'm very happy how it turned out. These Thinlits also come in a bundle with a fantastic coordinating stamp set called You're So Sweet. Gotta love those bundle deals!
