After work today I’ll be attending another online papercrafting event, and this post is about the last of the projects that I created during the January event. This two day event is a lot of fun and it gives me a boost of creativity and projects to share with you. I have no idea where the the event leaders get their ideas for the different projects that they teach, but I really appreciate the inspiration and enthusiasm.

This card is called the Surprise Pop-Out by the demonstrator that taught it to us. The picture below will show why she calls it that. The instructor used the Mixed Florals and Mixed Labels stamps and dies. I don’t have those, so I substituted the Enduring Beauty bundle for my project. The Enduring Beauty stamps, dies and stencils (or masks as Stampin’ Up!™ call them) are all discounted on the Last Chance list. I love these products and I encourage you to check them out!

When you open the card, the sides can fold back and the center image is on a strip that allows it to pop out from the card base. This means that the focal image really stands out and it’s so pretty! This card also allowed me to use some of the beautiful Mixed Media Florals patterned paper. The images and colors in this paper are absolutely stunning!

I used the trick that I shared in this post to stamp and color the large floral image in the center of the card. I stamped it first with Basic Beige ink, colored with the stencils and blending brushes, and then stamped the outline image again with Tuxedo Black. This requires a stamping tool like the Stamparatus (missed but not forgotten) or the Misti.

Lastly, today (April 25th) is the last day for the Free Shipping promotion! I shared the details about what qualifies, minimum order amount, etc. on Wednesday here. You can get the great Enduring Beauty products and other supplies I used, and when the total qualifies they will be shipped for free! We all love free shipping when we can get it, so please leverage the deal when you can. 😁
