Isn't this fun?!?
I love making cards that are unique folds or have something that add unusual dimension to them. Recently I did a workshop for a friend (Hi Terry!) and her guests were all very experienced stampers. I knew a few of them already, and they are all sweet beyond measure. However, I felt like I needed to provide a couple of projects that stepped it up a bit so that these gals felt like they learned something new. This project was one of the two projects that we did. The stamped and punched ornament actually is suspended in the front of the card, so when the card is open it can float around. This type of card is called a suspension card. So Terry, did I accomplish my goal?
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Grateful Greetings, Tags 'til Christmas
- Ink: Wild Wasabi
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
- Accessories: Brights DSP pack (red polka dot paper), Scallop Edge border punch, Ornament punch, Crumb Cake taffeta ribbon, Holiday Windows Sizzix die
