I created this card AGES ago to participate in a demonstrator swap for the “new” Occasions catalog that launched at the beginning of this year. I received this stamp set as part of my loot from the OnStage Local event that I attended in Baltimore in November. I received so many goodies at that event, and I still have to ink up some of the stamps. I went a little wild with my purchases from the catalog (because it is freakin’ awesome!), and I haven’t found the time to get all inky with everything. I am giving myself a challenge to use all of my stuff before the catalog expires – it is embarrassing to admit that I sometimes have stamps or accessories that are retired before I use them. I’m striving to not have that happen this time!
I used the sketch here to design this card. This is actually the first card that I created from this sketch, but it is the second one that I have shared here. You may recall that I used the same sketch for the card that I created for our departing Associate Pastor in this post. I really find it easy to follow this sketch when creating something fun. Some sketches are just like that – much easier for my brain to wrap around than others. Who knows, perhaps I’ll bust out this sketch again in the future.
