This is the second card that the South Burlington stamp club group created earlier this month. There’s a fair amount of stamping on this card, but none of it is difficult. I didn’t start out planning non-sentiment cards for the club meeting, but apparently it was my “theme” for the month. The nice thing with non-sentiment cards is that you can use them for any occasion. This card would be great for a snail-mail pick-me-up for someone that’s sick, a birthday wish for someone special, or even a welcome to the neighborhood.
The Sentimental Swirls stamp set is in the January – June mini catalog, and I got to see it in action at the Virtual OnStage event that I attended last fall. This stamp set was designed by a recent million-dollar sales demonstrator from the UK, and she showed us all some samples that she created with this set. The cool thing is that it’s a sort of builder set and you can create interesting images with the swirls and add small swirls, different leaves and flowers. The set also coordinates with two punches from the big catalog – the Strawberry Builder punch and the Flowers & Leaves punch. The possibilities with this set are endless!
I have to highlight the patterned paper that I used on the left side of the background. This is one of the patterns in the Daffodil Afternoon paper that’s one of the Sale-A-Bration options. When you order $50 in merchandise, you can receive this paper for free. If you want some of this paper or one of the other great SAB choices, you’ll need to place your order pretty quickly. The Sale-A-Bration promotion will end on February 28th, and all of these great goodies will go away. You can check out the Sale-A-Bration options here – happy shopping!
