I created this simple card for the card buffet event that I held in June. I think this was the first project to sell out; I'm always curious to see what cards will appeal to folks more than others. Sympathy cards are good to have on hand so that you can get one out in the mail when it's needed. Sadly, I'll be sending this one out today to a friend and his wife that are mourning the loss of her brother.
This card is very simple with it's white-on-white die cut and the navy mat, ribbon and stamped sentiment. I can't say enough good things about the very useful greetings in the Rose Wonder stamp set, and the coordinating dies are just fabulous. The navy seam binding ribbon that I used here is no longer available (I haz a sad over that), but the rest of the supplies are in the current catalog. You could easily replace the ribbon with two of three pieces of solid navy baker's twine and replicate this card.
