Jolly Old ElfThis is the second tag that I’ve created for the set that I’m working on for guest gifts for the Holiday Stamp-A-Stack. I have to say that I’m having a bunch of fun designing these tags. I definitely don’t want to think about the amount of time that I’m putting into this project tho – I’m focusing instead on the fun of creating and putting these together with old products that I still have hanging around. I dug out this stamp set called “Jolly Old Elf” that was retired before I ever heard of Stampin’ Up! In my early stamping days I acquired some sets from the internet auction site you may have heard of… ‘eBay’. I actually hadn’t really made anything with this set, and it has stayed with me through a couple of garage sales, so I thought I would dig it out of the box to give it a try for this project. I’m having so much fun coloring with my Stampin’ Blends, and I was glad to spend some time coloring these cute guys. I’ll do my best to list the colors that I used, but I’m not 100% certain that I’ll remember them all. This particular tag is pretty simple – some retired DSP adhered on a tag with a ribbon decorating the top. I wanted this cute Santa to be the real focal point here. What do you think – would you like to have one of these tags to adorn a gift your giving this year? Please contact me if you want to learn more about the Stamp-A-Stack event.
