For our monthly stamp club, we all make a swap card to share with everyone. It is a fantastic way to get ideas from each other and I love to see what each of the gals creates. I decided that I would share them occasionally here on my blog. This way, you'll get to see some more variety of projects and these gals get their lovely work shared out on the blog-o-sphere.
This time I'm sharing a beautiful card that Shelley Boomhower created for our February gathering. I love the little details that she put into this card. She stamped the flower bud a second time, cut it out and then popped it out on the card. And I'm especially excited that she used the bubble wrap technique to create the spotted background. I taught the group that technique a while ago, and it really did this teacher proud to see her use the technique again.
Shelley used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Three Little Words
- Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
- Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green
- Accessories: Scallop Border punch, 1/4" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Olive Felt Fusion flower (retired)
