I have seen several cards posted on the internet that use the Hardwood stamp to create a fence as a backdrop for a scene. One example had each of the “slats” cut apart and sponged on the edges before they were put back on (with a small gap) to create the fence. I created this card as a stamp club project for June, and I didn’t want to make the ladies cut and sponge that much (it would have taken ages). So, I compromised. I cut out two slats and sponged the edges of them – these were used to create the horizontal supports of the fence. I used the triangle punch to cut out the pointy bits on the dividing lines of the fence, and the word bubble die makes perfect clouds. The flowering bush uses the leaves from the new Flower Frenzy die and the stamped flowers are delightful. The Hardwood stamp is very versatile, and I encourage you to do some surfing in Pinterest to get some great ideas.
