I created a batch of this card months ago for a demonstrator swap featuring new sets from the January – April mini catalog. The sample has been hanging around languishing while I puttered around creating new cards, watched videos of card makers, and countless other things that distracted me from sharing the card here. Well, this morning I decided that time was up – I was going to post this TODAY. I really like the Two-Tone Flora bundle, and I really hope that it has continued life in the next Annual catalog. The flowers are so versatile, and the layered stamping creates really stunning results. I think if you have this bundle and the Go To Greetings stamp set, you will really be set up well for so many occasions. I actually was contacted by one of the other demonstrators from the swap because she really loved this card. She appreciated the many different occasions that it could be used for and how simple it is to create – she couldn’t wait to share it with her friends and customers. This (of course) totally made my day! When we create things, it’s always nice to know that they are appreciated.

I used this sketch as the inspiration for my card. I went with a direct interpretation of the sketch – no deviation this time around. The leaves aren’t quite a “frond-y”, but that’s really being nit-picky about a sketch. The only difference is that the sentiment tag is in front and not tucked into the left-side flower. That’s a minor difference indeed.
