When I saw this cute die in the Holiday catalog, I just knew that I had to have it! Stampin' Up! made it even more tempting by offering it in a bundle with the coordinating stamp set (A Little Something). There is so much more to the dies than just the pillow box, too. There are some dies that cut out shapes from the stamp set and ones that will create small windows in the box or as accent strips on your finished project.
We made this project at the last stamp club gathering, and my normally box-hating gals were pleased with how easy it was to assemble. It was an evening of coining phrases, and we called all those decorations on the top the "stack of fun-ness". Those spider web doilies are just soooo much fun!
I trolled my favorite color combination challenge site to find a Halloween color theme for this project. I'm not sure how I missed this combo before, but I love it! and isn't that door decoration used for the colors absolutely the cutest?
