Over the weekend I created six of this card. I love the versatility of the Everyday Arches bundle and I used the dies to create this bright rainbow on my card. I nested the dies to create the rainbow arches in the three colors shown and then cut off the bottom of the diecuts to create the rainbow that you see here. I wanted to do this from the day that I received the bundle and I finally had the time over the weekend to experiment and figure out how to do it.
This card also features two different Sale-A-Bration products; the Toadstool Gardens patterned paper and the Starstruck embossing folder. I think those are my two favorite offerings this year, and there’s only a few days left where you can get them for free with a qualifying purchase. You can view all of the Sale-A-Bration offerings here. The Sale-A-Bration promotion will end at midnight on February 28th. So once we’re in March, no more SAB.
I did use a stencil from another company to create the cloudy background behind the rainbow. Stampin’ Up!™ used to have border dies that had a cloudy look, but they aren’t available any more. They were called Basic Borders and they really were very handy. You may have something in your stash that you could use to create this look and I encourage you to experiment with what you have.
