As I’m listening to the radio and enjoying my coffee, I’m hearing lots of different stories about approaches to slow down the progression of COVID-19. We’ve been hearing so much about this virus since the beginning of the year, but it has really reached a new level this week. Hearing about all of the various events and schools that are being shut down makes it so much more tense. As I’m pondering this, it made me wonder if people are going to have to drastically change their wedding plans. Talk about an event that pulls together a large-ish crowd together in close proximity – a wedding certainly fits that bill! My heart goes out to anyone that has their dream wedding altered to protect their family and friends. A pretty wedding card isn’t the same as celebrating in-person, but it helps soften the blow a little.
This card was one of the make ‘n takes that we created at the November OnStage event. All of the projects were designed to not require dies (I’m sure that cut down costs considerably). And I was reminded that it is very possible to create stunning projects without the coordinating dies. Don’t get me wrong – I love coordinating dies! But using Stampin’ Blends, some ribbon, pretty DSP and a punch and you have something stunning. I really like the softness of this card, and coloring with the Stampin’ Blends on DSP is something I would love to do more.
